Apply with your proposition by 5pm Friday 23rd August

You can get involved right now, by proposing your idea for any type of class*. This could be: a one-off workshop; a series of talks; a one-to-one chat; a parade, performance, concert; or a guided tour round the museum.
10 propositions will each get £200 to make them happen.

The propositions will be selected** based on these two factors:

1. The proposition clearly responds to the foundations of the curriculum
> It can reinforce it, challenge it, play with it, or break it. Just respond.

2. The proposition clearly shows an interest in people and shared learning
> This is an opportunity for all of us to learn, to question, to listen, to share and be to open. Remember not to simply broadcast what you think you know.

You don’t have to be a designer, and you don’t have to have any previous experience of teaching.

Before writing your proposition, please read these guidelines. They outline what can and can’t happen inside the V&A.

*We use the word class very openly.

** The propositions will be published on this website, and shared with the public in different ways to get their input into what would make an exciting curriculum. The final decision on the core curriculum will be made by me.
